“Meet the two recipients of the 2017 Adopt-A-Family fundraiser that was held on December 18. The event was hosted by Tim Clark of NBC Omaha Heartland Focus, and included performances by Enjoli, Jus. B, and Keiria Marsha. The proceeds were donated through Family Housing Advisory Services, Opportunity Passport program, to Allissa Alva and Bobbie Harris, two program participants that were most in need this Christmas.”
RECENT SUCCESS STORY
Angelica Ramos, one of our participants, recently used her match to purchase a car through the Opportunity Passport program. Here's the email she sent us, to show her appreciation:
"I want to thank you for helping me get a car. I really appreciate it so much. Wouldn't be able to get one if it wasn't for you guys giving me and other kids the opportunity to do this amazing program. Having a car helped me get to and from my appointments. Really appreciate that this program helps kids get a car so they can become more independent. My car is working amazing and I love it. Being able to have help from this program is good telling me what is a good car and how to make sure it is stable and safe." Congratulations, Angelica! |

SURVEY MONTH
We gather data about the outcomes of young people participating in the Opportunity Passport™ through the Opportunity Passport™ Participant Survey, which young people take twice annually. The survey is administered in April and October of each year.
