How Can I File My Taxes?

Electronic filing has ended for the year.  ​We will not be accepting tax appointments until the 2024 filing season unless you have a letter from the IRS or state with a filing deadline.  Call 402-934-6750 to schedule an appointment if you have a letter.

The 2024 tax season begins January 29th and our appointment calendar will open at the beginning of January.  Start gathering you documents in one place to be ready to file!  As a reminder, our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) service is for low-to-moderate income taxpayers, typically those earning $65,000 a year or less.
Tax360 SecureDrop, our safe online drop-off service, will also be available again starting in January.

Do I Qualify For Assistance?

We are a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program that offers free tax assistance to qualifying individuals. These qualifiers include:

• People who generally make less than $65,000 or less
• Persons with disabilities
• Limited English-speaking taxpayers
• Senior Citizens
