Nebraska Fair Housing Act Unlawful housing practices generally include discrimination in the advertisement, acquisition (showing, negotiating for or transmitting offers for sale or rental), financing, or possession and enjoyment (terms, conditions, privileges) of residential property.
Iowa Civil Rights Law Iowa is one of a majority of states that has its own fair housing law. The "Iowa Civil Rights Act" (Iowa Code 216) prohibits housing discrimination based on race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, mental disability, physical disability, and familial status (presence of children in the home).
